Graphtec proprietary color matching technology enables production of images with accurate color reproduction and uniformity.

* Overall color is not good in other scanner. It is required the adjustment in an onerous way for matching the color.
* In the CSX series, the color can be matched by simple calibration.

Color space of Abobe® RGB and sRGB
Support sRGB and Abobe® RGB compatible color space for wider color reproduction. The Abobe® RGB compatible mode supports a wider color space than sRGB. It improves color reproduction of the printed document.
sRGB · · ·it is a standard color space for use on various devices such as monitor, inkjet printer, camera, and others. The hue and saturation are specified to unify the differences in color reproduction between devices.
Adobe RGB · · ·it is an RGB color space developed by Adobe Systems. It was designed to encompass most of the colors achievable on CMYK color printer. It can be represented colors on the printed document that can not be represented in the sRGB.
The brightness of color on the document needs to be detected for scanning the document in the grayscale mode. Triple light source in the CIS is used to create white light for scanning in the grayscale. Cyan, magenta and yellow colors are recognized in the same level as other colors.

When the setting of the Gray balance on the software is set to the OFF, the single light (green) sourse is used for scanning the document. The detection of color brightness for green and magenta color is emphasized.
When the setting of the Gray balance on the software is set to the ON, the triple light (R, G, B) souse is used to create white light for scanning the document. The detection of color brightness for green and magenta color is not emphasized. Cyan, magenta and yellow colors are recognized in the same level as other colors.

Image scanners can use one of two methods to scan documents—CIS or CCD.

The tree and thumbnail view data management system supports various formats and lets you confirm file locations at a glance, facilitating sharing of scanned and/or edited data among various applications. Also includes a comprehensive search function.

The Scanning ARTS2 for WIN software can easily build the large format copy system by combining the existing large-format printers and Graphtec scanners. Also, it can easily be configured the settings such as color or monochrome, document type, document size, print size, number of copies. This large size copying system can be used very conveniently just like a photocopying machine.
Three major function as the “COPY", “SCAN“ and “PRINT" can be selected in the initial screen. The menu screen is displayed for each function.
The Color Management (color matching) depends on the color profile for the printer that is provided by manufacturer.


Simply select scanning mode, select type and size for scanning document, and select print size and scaling, then click the Copy button
The document will be digitized and then it is printed by specified printer.

Simply select document type and size then click the scan button after specifying Color/B&W
Only clicking the scan button, the document can be digitized.
Even for the batch scan, scanning can be done in simple operation using the function of the automatic file name assignment.

Select the file then simply click the print button.
After the file has been selected, size and other data is displayed. The document size can be freely enlarged or reduced, and a number of copies can also be specified.

During copy or scan, the Scanning ARTS2 for WIN can adjust and change color.
The value for adjustment can be saved as the name of document, it can be recalled by one button.
